Summer Days....

Jadyn's cousin is hangin with us this weekend! We decided to go swimming! love warm summer days when you can play! We used to go swimming at my moms house in her private pool! aw!! it was so nice just have the whole thing to our selves! But... She recently moved to California so we don't have the luxuries anymore! UNTIL.... a single lady my dad used to work with has a HUGE pool and backyard with a playground and everything all to herself said we should come over whenever we want!! AAHH!!! the temperature was so perfect the privacy was awesome and we don't have to worry about other peoples diseases lol! So don't worry mom you have been replaced! (we still love and miss you very much!)

Cute Girlie....
Koston Loungin....
This KID loves the water!

Jadyn did so good! we decked her out in
floaties and she was all over the place by herself!!

HA!! She HAD to wear the goggles!!

Koston's toes all dried off and ready to go!
After we went swimmin we took the babes home for a nap, and
the girls went grocery shopping
for lunch supplies!

Jadyn HAS to do everything on her own!

This is what we made for lunch! Super easy and super yummy...

Chicken Bundles

Ingredients for Chicken Bundles
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1-13 oz. cans chicken
  • 1 Tbs. sesame seeds
  • 2 cans Pillsbury Crescent Rolls - leave in fridge until ready to use!
  • 1 Tbs. finely chopped onion or dried minced onion
  • And any other garnishes and add ins you want (I added some mushrooms and green bell peppers)
  • Also I sauteed the onion mushrooms and pepper 1st but you don't need to.
  • If you don't add anything you might want to double the chicken and add a lil more cream cheese to make the servings go further

Directions:

Combine the above ingredients (minus the crescent rolls) and mix well.
Open a package of crescent rolls. DO NOT divide into triangles. Keep every 2 triangles together, forming rectangles. Pinch the seams closed and pat each one out into a larger square.

Put a spoonful of chicken/cream cheese mixture into the center of each square. Fold the corners up into the center, layering like flower petals so the roll is sealed. (Don't stress too much on the technique, fold them up press seams together to make a bundle.) sprinkle with sesame seed.

Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.

Then we made this....

Death by CHOCOLATE!
(it's suppose to be cooked in a bunt pan but I couldn't find one at my dads)

  • 1 chocolate cake mix
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup h20
  • 1 small package instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips ( I like to use the small ones)
  • powdered sugar
Grease & flour bundt pan. preheat oven to 350*
Beat eggs, sour cream, water and oil together in a large bowl until thoroughly mixed.
add cake mix and pudding mix stir in chocolate chips.
put in pan (it'll seem kinda thick)

Bake for 45-55 min or until fork comes out clean
cool cake in pan, dump it out onto your serving tray and sprinkle with powdered sugar
(I frosted this one this time it's really good either way)
